I am reading the excellent new book Visualizing Data, electronically on Safari Books Online (via my employer's 'Proquest combo' account, in case thats relevant). The physical book comes with a CDROM that contains the full code of the examples. I've not yet found a way to obtain this code electronically. Is there a way? Its hard to get the full benefit of the book without it.
I have recently bought the book: 'Dynamic Learning Dreamweaver CS3'
I cannot find the file : Dynamic_Learning_DW_CS3.swf file. As an apparent consequence I cannot access the Video tutorials or the lessons. Trying to open the index.swf opens the Illustrator program but not the file. I am using Mac G4 and G5 platforms.
Cannot find source code for "Building Scalable Web Sites" as specified in the book.
The URL provided by the book is http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/web2apps.
Hi. I purchased one of your books "Java Swing - 2nd Ed." a few years ago. I see now that pages 393-440 are missing. I don't remember where I bought the book. Will you replace this book for me?
The ISBN is 0-596-00408-7.
I recently purchased Javascript: The Definitive Guide 5th Edition printed 9/07 and it is missing pages 63 through 86. I would like a complete copy of this book as it is a reference essential to my occupation. Any assistance is much appreciated.
On page 91 of iPod The Missing Manual 6th Edition, there a reference to using the ALT key access a menu. It seems that the SHIFT key should be used instead.
I bought a book - CSS the missing manual - and it said that I could download chapters by coming to your site and putting in the coupon code but I can't find where to do this - now when I try to send a message your system does not recognize my password, so I have to create a new account again after doing it yesterday
