As a complete beginner I have purchased "Creating Web Sites" (Under Printing History - October 2005) (Bottom Right Corner 3/08). I have followed the instructions in Chapter 2. Creating Your First Page. I have used Word to create the .htm file. When I open the file from IE all I see is the text and all the formatting tags. I have managed to get the title to appear on the IE Window Tab, but only by choosing to edit the title when saving the file.
Hi, I wrote this earlier, I'm the one with the cupcake icon. Anway, my idea is for a HTML and CSS magnetic word kit. I was reading a chapter from Head First into HTML and CSS, and started thinking to myself if there was a faster way to try out the examples and make maps and stuff without going into editor and rewriting everything. So I came to Magnetic Word Kits for HTML and CSS. It will be custom made, and incorporate all the new languages of HTML and CSS. What do you think?
