Can't create my sample database for Learning SQL Last reply on April 13, 2008 16:39.
I recently purchased Beaulieu's Learning SQL.
How do I use the txt file to create a My SQL database?
I have downloaded the file and installed My SQL 5.1
But I'm brand new to My SQL. I have used a txt file to load data into a table, but can't figure out how to create the sample database. -

Proofreading error in SQL Pocket Guide 2nd edition Last reply on February 06, 2008 14:26.
On p. 11 Datatype is spelled without a second t "Dataype". This is a section header which is repeated at the bottom of each page from there to p. 33. -

How do I get/download sample data from O'reilly that is listed in a book from O'reilly? Last reply on January 27, 2008 22:41.
I purchased Learning SQL by Alan Beaulieu from O'Reilly. On page 14 he gives the path http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/learni... to get a file for sample data used in the book. I went there and don't see any toggle, path etc to get the data. - 1 Reply 2 Followers
