Any tips for first-time Foo Campers?
Anything in particular I should bring? What's the weather like? And most importantly, is there somewhere I can take a shower even though I'm camping on the lawn?

on a more serious note, now that i'm back from my first foo camp.
1) definitely camp. some of the most entertaining conversations i had were in the early morning with normally intelligent but highly pre-coffee individuals.
2) the weather is hot hot hot during the day, but o'reilly gives you a (very nice, foo camp-branded) water bottle when you get there. keep it, use it, love it; there are water coolers everywhere.
3) yes, there are showers. seriously, though, guys, you could've mentioned that ahead of time. :)

Inappropriate?hey, brady, what email address did you sign up with for the site? if you use the @o'reilly.com email, you'll show us as a designated foo camp representative. assuming you want that, of course. :)

Inappropriate? There are a lot of useful first-timer notes (including the presence of showers) on the wiki. See link in sidebar.
