Arduino An Open Source Microcontroller Board & Hacks
Any work on arduino open source hardware microcontroller?
There has been much hardware and software hacking on the Arduino Microcontroller platform. We really could use a learning and hacking manual

Inappropriate?laefsky, we have a great book on Arduino. It's called Making Things Talk, and you can find more information here:

Inappropriate?Brian: I have making things talk and it is an excellent book on communicating with things and Internet/Web Protocols between a Microprocessor which might be an Arduino such as Zigbee I2C etc. What I was looking for was an at home DIY to setting up arduino and a variety of devices on protoboards and prototyping the results, For example, it could be an adaptation of Tom Igoe and Dan Sullivans Physical computing specifically to the Arduino and Tutorials From Making the LED's light to interface with a WII Controller, GSR Interface 3D Accelerometer or other device. It should stand alone but follow onto Lady ADA's and Bionic Arduino Tutorials. And include everything necessary for a left thumbs at home user to feel comfortable wiring a succession of projects up on Solderless Protoboards. It might have an addtional chapter on the General Open Source Hardware movement but this is optional

Inappropriate? Thanks! I'll keep your suggestions in mind as we work on future titles.

Inappropriate?Thank You-- It generally would make sense for OREILLY to have how to do it guides for beginners to assemble and if possible design electronics. While not exclusively software. ORIELLY now has hot to do it's for Chemistry and Astronomy and Open Source Hardware Hacking and an illustrated step by step guide that would make a clumsy beginner feel comfortable without an instructor would be a valuable addition to your product line.
I’m happy
