Buying an ebook should prompt to make an account
I tried purchasing an ebook today, but mistakingly did not create an O'Reilly account (I chose not to make an account). After purchasing, the order confirmation email said "You can download your purchased media anytime by visiting your O'Reilly
account <https://members.oreilly.com/account/e...>". I went to that page, and it seems to require an account. So I made an account (assuming the order email would be tied to my account email, because it's the same address), and still could not see the order.
So, it appears that people /must/ have an account to buy ebooks. This is not mentioned anywhere in the ordering process, and I'm sure other users have had the same issue that I've encountered. The site should *force* people to make an account if it's required with an ebook purchase.
My order ID is 411810.

Our system is supposed to require you to create an account if you have an electronic product in the shopping cart. There seems to be a bug that we'll have to track down. I'm sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused!
Please send me an email at sarahkim AT oreilly.com with the email address you used to register and the Ebook you purchased and we'll get everything sorted out.

Technically, you can't buy an ebook on oreilly.com without creating an account. I'm not sure how you got around that, but you did. Our customer service group will have to add the book to your account, and unfortunately they're not available until Monday. If you need the book right away, please order it again, and create an account, and we'll resolve the problem first thing Monday morning.
