online design 3D kitchen - choice of software tool
Dear Sir/Madam
I intend to develop a business with online design of 3D kitchen, once the design is done, visitors can display the virtual 3d effect as in a kithcen room, and with 1 click of button to get total price and listing all components in the design. Can I use Flash CS4 in combination with Dreamweaver CS4 to develop such project? I am learning Dreamweaver CS4 with the Missing Manual, if Flash CS4 is a good choice for this project, I want to learn Flash CS4 as well.

Inappropriate?Hi Jevons,
Yes, it sounds like Flash would be the right technology for this project. Ikea has a feature on their website that does something like what you're talking about; it's built with Flash.
Besides Dreamweaver CS4: TMM and Flash CS4: TMM, some other books that may be useful to you are Learning Flash CS4 Professional and Creating a Website: The Missing Manual.

I want to find out which chapters of the books can do the prices calculation -- eg. a kitchen made up with 15 uints of cabinets, and benchtop, appliances, each unit has a price, how to list all the items with a sum-up total. Can you tell me the chapter numbers (titles) of these books? Thanks again. Jevons -

Inappropriate?My kitchen is red very red I'm lost on the living room color. Sence these rooms run together I'm thinking of something in the orange hue not bright but muted color. I just don't know if this is to much? also from my kit/livi you can see the bath that I painted purple. I love this color and need this all pulled together. With the living room color any ideas.
