oreilly store ebook pdf's
I am planning on purchasing "Programming Collective Intelligence" pdf and was wondring what kind of drm it has. Can I copy paste stuff from it, can it be saved as text from standard pdf readers. The reason I ask is I need it for my ebook reader, so I can read easily.

There is no DRM on our PDFs. You can copy and paste the text from the PDF. If you use Adobe Reader 8.1, you can even save it as text.

Inappropriate?I recently purchased and downloaded the "Head First Servlets and JSP, 1E" pdf version, but all the text past the introduction section isn't searchable. When I do a save as text, the text file is empty. When I select the text, copy, and paste it all I get is a bunch of squares where the characters should be.
I'm using Adobe Reader 8.1.1 on Windows Vista.
