Photoshop File will not save as.
I am trying to do the lessons from the Dynamic Learning Photoshop CS3. I am doing the first lesson in chapter 2. When I try to save the file as instructed under the name ps0201_work, i get a message in Photoshop that it can not be save because I do not have access to do so. Please help.

Inappropriate?Hi Namor,
Are you trying to save the file to the lesson folder on the DVD? That's not possible because the DVD is read-only and will give you an error. Make sure you've copied the lesson folder to your hard disk, and that you are saving the file to that folder on your hard disk. -
No I made a folder on my desktop of the files from the disc. -
Inappropriate?Hi Namor,
Right-click on the pslessons folder and choose Properties and make sure the check box that says Read-only is not selected. -
Chris, thank you so much for the help. The read only option was selected. I just changed it to read and write. I have not tried the lesson again yet, but will let you know the results. Thanks again for the quick and helpful response. -
Chris, I tried to start the lesson again and I am still running into the same problem even after selecting the read and write options in the properties. The message says that I can not save because I do not have proper access to do so. -
Inappropriate?Hi Namor,
I'm not sure why you can't save it on your Desktop. Which operating system are you using? Have you tried saving the file into your My Documents folder? -
Not yet but I will do so. I am using Mac OS 10 Leopard. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks! -
I just tried it and it seemed to work when I save as in the documents and not on the desktop. Thanks for the help, and I will let you know if I run into any more problems.
