Purchased at B&N "The Nikon D200 Dbook" cannot access the access action or other on CD, only the .PDF file! Known issue?

Cannot see stated Actions folder or other material (readme file) clearly stated in docs should be on the CD. Only the .PDF file is present which does seem functional. I intend to return the item to Barnes and Noble in case I rec'd a defective CD. However, I wonder if this is a known issue---am I likely to see the same problem with the next copy?
