What's the best place go for eavesdropping on the Foo festivities from afar?
Video podcasts, anyone? TED has been doing some awesome posting of previous years' presentations. Foo camp could up the ante by doing it in realtime!

Inappropriate?O'Reilly has a set of rules about broadcasting/blogging from Foo, which basically amounts to "Ask first." Which is a good rule, in my opinion, but means that blanket coverage via video or similar is a lot less likely than @ a get-together like TED.
Unrelatedly, why do all these type gatherings have three letter names? -
Inappropriate?Unlike TED, we don't have a single track program with AV already included. Recording dozens of simultaneous sessions, many of them in tents, would be a real challenge. It would also detract from the informality of the event, and given that we emphasize conversations more than presentations, probably wouldn't be that valuable anyway.
We are thinking about setting up a kiosk where people who are presenting can do a brief recording of the salient points of their presentation or discussion, for sharing afterwards.
