Alas, we just weren't getting enough traffic to justify continuing the investment. It seemed like a really good idea, and the people who tried it liked it, but not enough of them to keep coming back or recommending it to their friends. Sorry.
That's the way it is with net projects -- they either catch on, or they don't. This one didn't.
