xampp won't run

I installed XAMPP. Worked fine. Next day apache won't start. Uninstalled, reinstalled now apache runs but mysql doesn't. Any fixes?

The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

have you got skype? if so go to
tools >> options >> untick "Use port 80 as an alternative port"
