Messages not loading on iphone
I am able to log in at https://my.otherinbox.com/signin and see a list of the mailers on my iphone. However, when I click on an individual email, the content of the email does not load. I've attached an image to show you the issue. The "circular loader" on the right also stops moving.

We resolved some problems with the IMAP server earlier, so it should be back up and running. If not, it may be an iPhone issue.

Inappropriate?Alex, it looks like Dennis is not using IMAP, he's using Mobile Safari to access OIB over the web.
Dennis, our current Mobile Safari site is buggy and needs some work. In the mean time, I'd recommend using IMAP to get at your OIB messages on your iPhone.

Inappropriate?I have Imap on the Iphone, and it never ever ever loads any email through my Iphone mail program. It did awhile back, but now, never. I just spent 15 min waiting on it and nothing ever loaded. I then tried via the web interface, and waited another 8 min, and nothing. ergh....2 Comments Add a comment

We made some big changes to IMAP a little more than a week ago and everyone who we have talked to says that it made huge improvements and is working great for them. Have you tried it recently? You're the first complaint I've heard since we made the change.
I wonder if there is something funny about your account. Do you want to swing by our office tomorrow afternoon so we can log in with you and see exactly what you're experiencing? -

On Apple Mail, I've shut off Imap. Just turned it back on. We'll see.
I'm not really sure why the Iphone didn't work though.
I'm only frustrated in the point I was renting a DVD at Redbox and I had a coupon for a free on on my otherinbox and couldn't access it. :-)
I did test Imap under Wifi on the iphone later in the day and it did load after a smaller wait. So it seems like there is maybe a lot of data transfer that just doesn't work under 3G? -
Inappropriate?I'm experiencing this as well with the mobile Safari app. It's not a dealbreaker, it's just frustrating. I prefer using Safari to check OIB and GMail rather than Apple Mail.
