Blogger widget showing duplicates
The rating widget was working great on my webpage (www.entropicando.com) up until when I added a new javascript code to the page (ASCIIMathML.js). Now the widget is showing duplicate ratings on the main page. On the individual post pages, the system seems to be working fine, though.
I am using the blogger widget. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hmmm - weird... Could you try to un-install the outbrain widget, and re-install it fresh from our site (www.outbrain.com/get/)?
All the rating data will be saved and will work fine after you re-install.
We're checking in parallel what might have caused this.
I’m baffled

Inappropriate?I did what you suggested but it didn't change much...
One thing that might help is that if I remove the MathML elements (which are created via the javascript) the main page behaves normally, even with the tag importing... On the other hand, the single post display doesn't give any problems, even with the MathML elements.
I don't know how browser script programming works but I was wondering if it's possible that they share the same namespace (or something like that) and there is some variable clashing going on... The js file being imported is at http://pages.entropicando.com/ASCIIMa....
Thanks for the attention!
I’m still confused
-
Inappropriate?Actually, all pages where the script is in use show the duplicate.

Inappropriate?Thank you for reporting this problem. We will fix it in one of our next releases.
The problem is caused like you said by the use of "MathML".
The way it works - it reloads your page all over again (on the client side) and causes the Rating Widget to appear again.
We will fix it on our side - so reloading of a page by a different third party will not effect us like this
I will let you know once this is fixed (but it'll take a month or so)

Inappropriate? Please, reply here when this is fixed... I'll be removing the Outbrain widget for now (the MathML script is more important, since the blog is math related!) but will put it back when the bug is corrected.
I am willing to test this for you guys in case you need!
I’m confident
