Most popular / recommendations won't go away
I've disabled the most popular functionality, but the links still show, and I really just turned it on to see what it would do.
How do I get rid of them? I am announcing the site soon and don't want them there. The site is http://www.echoroot.com (shhh).Thanks.

Oh ok. I understand where the miscommunication was. We also have a separate widget called "Most Popular" that shows up in the side bar. We call what you are seeing recommendations - it's definitely an understandable mix up.
So to turn off the recommendations all you need to do is is sign into your outbrain dashboard >> Manage blogs >> Settings >> Recommendations >> No Recommendations (to turn them off) or Limited (to set them to show other posts only from your site).
Give this a try and let me know if you are still having trouble.
Thanks,
Kate

Inappropriate?Hi,
Yes we care -- I'm sorry for the delay but I visit your site and I do not see the most popular on your site. Can you email me a screen shot and point out what the problem is?

Inappropriate? They aren't showing up on the most recent posts, but you can see them starting about page 4: http://www.echoroot.com/page/4
The problem is that the recommendations are turned off for that site and they are still showing up.
Thanks for taking the time to look into this. :)
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?By the way, I even tried removing the site and re-adding it and using the newly generated code - and they still show up...

Inappropriate?OK, that makes sense. I made the change and it seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your time and a great tool :)
