Trimming code - remove claim part after getting ownership ?
Can I remove the tracking code for verifying blog owner ship AFTER the blog claim has been done succesfully. I'm always looking to trim and reduce my code - so is it nessecary to have this script after I have claimed the page ?

You can remove can remove the tracking code it if you want to. The only reason you might not want to is if you accidentally remove the blog from your dashboard you'll have trouble reclaiming. But if you want to, you can.
