Inappropriate? The map is centered around the pins on your map, and because you have a pin on San Mateo and the rest in Marin, SF is the center. You can always add places to local posts or delete places (if you don't want the San Mateo story to show up on the map). You can edit places/neighborhoods/cities attached to posts here: outside.in/geotoolkit/feed
Feel free to send any further questions about your specific stories/pins to us: contact AToutsideDOTin.

Inappropriate? Thanks. Now I have two problems. I need to be able to force the map to be centered around Marin County. If I do a story about someone from Marin going to New Your City, I don't want a map of the whole country.
But, none of that really matters because the map is frozen to what it was when I signed up. New stories and changes to locations of old stories don't show up.

Inappropriate?I deleted the place in San Mateo.
The map automatically updates and we do have new posts from you through today (you can see what we pull in here: outside.in/geotoolkit/feed).
We're not showing any new pins because none of your posts have places attached yet (only posts with *places* show up on the map). You can attach places simply here: outside.in/geotoolkit/feed

Inappropriate? That's not true. signed up on Saturday morning and the map I got then is the same map I get now. After signing up I added locations to two stories. They do not show up. We posted a story last night that was automatically and correctly located and that does not show up. I removed the San Mateo location and that still shows up. The map is forzen in time.

Inappropriate?I successfully updated the map and I'm not seeing a blog post from Sunday that mentions a specific place. I'm going to email you directly to further investigate any trouble you may be having.
