v2.0 - Semi-colon in message truncates that message
I haven't updated to 2.1 or 2.1.1 because I don't want auto-rotation of the screen. I've just noticed that version 2.0 is regularly truncating postings that contain a semi-colon....
The scarey bit is that it *looks* as though the text goes through while you're in the conversation, but if you "leave the room" and come back or open the conversation on another machine, you find that only the part of the message before the semi-colon appears to anyone but you. The semi and everything after it disappears.
I think you folks had this in an earlier version and sorted it. It looks to be back in 2.0. If you've fixed it in 2.1 or 2.1.1, sorry for troubling you.

Inappropriate? This is a strange one. We'll get this fixed in a future update. We already have an existing update submitted to the App Store so it will probably be a little while before that happens.

Inappropriate?I was wrong, it wasn't Ember that had this problem in an earlier version... it happened in the first version of Distant Shore and the programmers fixed it. It has something to do with the semi-colon meaning 'end of string' or 'end of line' or something in the programming language. When the user has a semi-colon, it has to be treated with an 'escape' character so the programming language doesn't see it.
