Garbled sound in "some" rooms via paltalk express

Using paltalk express on a macbook, leopard osx. Sound in some rooms is unclear. I can go to other rooms and the sound is clear. I also tried paltalk express on a different computer with windows xp home, and 8.10 Ubuntu. I get the same results with the sound. Also, when is paltalk going to support the mac in the help rooms? No one is able to answer any questions about express and macs. It would be a very big help.
