Inactivity Log Out
Tonight since the 10 minute Paltalk downtime... my Paltalk Express (Fluid.app/Safari, Mac OS-X 10.5.3, Java 1.4.2) has been logging me out every ten minutes or so due to "inactivity" - I leave my Paltalk online for days, I never had this problem before, I never had it with Windows version 9.x, and its very inconvenient. I don't want to have to type in the Opie and Anthony room in the morning to be able to hear the stream, I don't want to be logged out and inaccessible to my contacts just because I'm not actively talking on Pal. This is... very inconvenient and frustrating. Thank you for looking at this.

Inappropriate?Figured out my problem is this as well, only mine logs me off from inactivity right after signing on. No idea why but this annoys me.

Inappropriate? This problem continues to persist... and no matter how "active" I am, it still logs out due to "inactivity" after a few minutes being online. I've taken to using Pal 9.x in vmware fusion/windows xp, but that's just frustrating and not a great solution to using Pal on a Mac.

Inappropriate?Since tonight's rebuild, this problem still persists. Inactivity log out while I'm typing to boot... I'm genuinely frustrated.

Inappropriate? This would happen if the browser is minimized to the dock. Flash stops communicating with the server on deactivation and that causes the logout.
-
Inappropriate?No... this happens during active use. Its not really inactivity. Its just happened since last week's build, and this week's July 1 build has not helped. Like I said, it logs due to "inactivity" while under active use. Its very frustrating. I've moved to Paltalk 9.x on VMware Fusion/Windows XP primarily - but that is not a real solution, its just a pain.

Inappropriate?I never minimize to the dock anyway... I'll hide the browser (command-h) sometimes but I usually just leave it running in the background.
-
Inappropriate?I changed my Java settings to default to 6.0, and updated my flash settings... see how this goes.
I kinda wish Paltalk Express was available as an Adobe Air applet... Air is cross platform and configures itself to be allowed to use your mic and cam if it needs to... and maybe those Linux guys would be less frustrated. They seem really upset all the time... -
Inappropriate?Well... that seems to have helped. If things revert I'll bitch more. :-P
-
Inappropriate?Nope. It let me be online for 43 minutes, then "Inactivity Timeout" while I had 4 active IM's open.
Mac OS-X 10.5.3, Java 5 or 6, Fluid.app/Safari... and I'm confused and frustrated. -
Inappropriate?21 minutes this time... I'll go back to 9.4 on VMware, I'm lost.
-
Inappropriate?July 3 build helps. Good work guys.

Inappropriate? This issue has reared its head again the past 2 days. I'll get "Inactivity log out" during an active conversation. Its incredibly frustrating and I thought it was fixed...

Inappropriate?I'm facing the same annoying issue. I also get "Loading time has expired"... it won't even allow me to sign in!
