Working PalTalk Express with Ubuntu 8.04
OK, so I was able to hear people in the welcome lobby, and they could hear me. This was with Mozilla 3.0.3, but I think the Java and flash versions may be more criticle - Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_07-b06 and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124 worked for me. I wasn't able to get the laptop working though, with is running Ubuntu Intrepid as a beta, which has Flash 10.0.r12 and Java 1.6.0_10-b33. Paltalk guys - you're close!

Inappropriate?Not working well on 7.1 Paltalk express loads but when i click on a room i see it for a second then it turns black and no control over the room.

Inappropriate?Not working well in Ubuntu 7.10. Paltalk express loads in and once i attempt to join a chat room i see it for a sec then it turns black with no cntrol over the chat room. This is useing Adobe Flash 10 and Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-b05) tried in both firefox 3.0 and Opera

Inappropriate?spudeWlike can you tell me where to get both Java(TM) Plug-in 1.6.0_07-b06 and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124 from? i need direct link for them. I know flash 10 doesn't work i tried so many times. Furthermore , does ubuntu 8.4 comes with Mozilla 3.0.3 ? or should i download it ? How ? I be happy if you help me hear voice using ubuntu live cd.Thanks
