Inappropriate?Hi Mrs Hubbard. I've never had this happen but that does sound dangerous. To be honest I now use natural, gel-free disposables at night. (During the day I use GDiapers, which also don't have chemicals or gel).
I was using 7th Generation diapers at night and when traveling. They don't contain any of the dangerous chemicals that the mainstream diapers do. I've recently found a new brand, from Sweden I think, called Nature Baby Care. No chemicals, no gels, no dyes AND they're biodegradable!
But in the past, with my first child -- before there were more eco-friendly options --, I always used Huggies and was pretty happy with them. I felt that they held up better than Pampers.
If you want to stick with Pampers, though, perhaps try the next size up? Maybe the current size you're using just isn't enough to contain your baby's output. :)
Good luck!
I’m hoping your baby doesn't eat the diaper gel!
