The Panasonic knowledge base has no record that my product exists!
I tried to look up an answer on the official Panasonic knowledgebase for my DVD-S53 using both search and the category menu and both ways generate the sad result: "no record of this product exists."
This is not confidence building, Panasonic!

Inappropriate?I happen to work for Panasonic, so was concerned when I saw this. I just went to the website (panasonic.com) and plugged in dvds53 into the search engine. It took me directly to the product page with downloadable operating instructions, etc. Not sure what happened when you tried it. I also see your question about the stuck drawer in the FAQ section on DVD players.
