DHCP clients as Pandion users
Hello Guys
I have Openfire and Pandion in our internal network. Clients with static IP can communicate without problems but clients with dynamic (our DHCP) IP can't connect with Openfire server. For dynamic IP' clients I use our proxy server. I put our proxy server name and port in Pandion' settings but no results.
Any ideas guys ??
regards

Unfortunately the method of proxy support implemented by Pandion 2.5 is not supported by Openfire or most other XMPP servers these days. That's why it has been removed from Pandion 2.6.x and instead we will be implementing BOSH at some later time.
You will have to set Pandion to connect without any proxy server.

Inappropriate?Sebastiaan many thanks for your answers
That's sad what you said
so do you know any XMPP server with proxy support -
Inappropriate? If I remember correctly the HTTP CONNECT method, as implemented in Pandion 2.5, was never widely supported by XMPP servers. These days most servers implement BOSH or work with a BOSH-XMPP frontend like Punjab.
