But 2.5 can do it.

Inappropriate?Actually the file transfer feature has been put on the back burner. We decided to deprecate HTTP file transfers and only implement this functionality once we have Jingle support. Spending time on HTTP file transfers now would be largely wasted since it's not compatible with any other IM clients and will inevitably be replaced by Jingle file transfers.

So v2.6 will not compatible with 2.5 HTTP file transfers? -
