Don't open a new window when a song is bookmarked
It's just kind of inconvenient to have to close the window that pops up every time I try to bookmark something. I figure there's a good motive behind making it do that, but it's unnecessary. If I wanted to view my bookmarked songs, I would click on my profile link, and I wouldn't do that right when I bookmark a new one.

Inappropriate?I think it would be a good idea if the current window shows a confirmation for a few seconds: "You have bookmarked (name of song)." with an undo link and a link to open bookmarks in a new window.

Inappropriate?Here's a temporary fix for the problem:
1. Bookmark a song (or artist). A popup window will appear.
2. Make the popup as small as possible and move it to a corner of the screen. Don't minimize it. AND DON'T CLOSE IT.
3. Each time you bookmark a song, the same popup window will be brought to the front, but since it is hiding in a corner, you won't notice it —much. (If the window was minimized, it will un-minimize itself.)
Hope this helps.
I’m kind of glad there's a workaround, but I'd like to see a more formal fix.

Excellent point. If you leave the page open, it doesn't keep popping up. And if you use tabs in your browser, it works even more seamlessly. :) I use Pandora in a separate window, and always keep the station info page open in the second tab. -Lucia

Actually, at least in Safari (4.0.2, Mac), the tab with the bookmarks would become selected when bookmarking.

Probably depends on how your tabs properties are set up. :) I'm using Firefox.
