How can I make my Pandora station shuffle mix and play with more variety?
I created my own Pandora station today, but I'm not satisfied with it. I added a real mix of music but I find that Pandora plays songs in little groups of like music, and then plays them alphabetically. It's as if the system looks for a pod of like songs and then plays them, then goes and looks for another pod, etc. I want my station to really mix from the whole pool, with great variety. How can I make the station shuffle?

Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you.
You're exactly right: Pandora plays songs in sets of about 15 minutes. The sets are organized by musicological similarity.
If you'd like your "playlist" to play in a more random way, mix two or more stations together with our QuickMix feature. Songs are not grouped together by musicological similarity while using QuickMix. It's like putting your stations on "shuffle."
(the QuickMix button is at the bottom of your left-hand station list, in the music player.)
