Pandora just randomly stops playing
This seems to happen in any browser on any station. Pandora just randomly stops playing. Sometimes it goes for an hour or so other times it stops after one or 2 songs. I usually just close the browser and try again and hope that it lasts. Pandora says that they are aware of this problem and gave me some very technical solution that I just don't have time or desire to figure out:
[from the Pandora FAQ]
Q: What do I do if the current song doesn't finish playing, and a new one starts? What do I do if the music stops entirely in the middle of a song?

Inappropriate?Hi Brian -
Thanks for the note, and thanks for reading our FAQ. I'm sorry this is happening while you listen to Pandora. It does indeed sound very frustrating.
Sorry if our "fix" came across as too time-consuming or highly technical.
I talked to Support staff, and they told me this is, unfortunately, a highly technical problem with a highly technical fix.
If you haven't already emailed our Support team at support@pandora.com, I suggest giving that route a try. They're quick and helpful and friendly. We'll do our best to help you with this problem.
We want you to be able to listen to uninterrupted music!
Thanks, and I hope we can help,
Lucia, Community Manager for Pandora

Inappropriate? Not sure if you've had your issue resolved, but I found that I had this problem when I switched to Windows 7 (and I hear Vista had the same issue). It's got something to do with Window's network autotuning. To disable, open your command prompt as an admin (type cmd in the run box and then right click and go to "Run As Administrator") and type this and hit enter: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable I noticed that it also fixed the issue of not being able to fully complete downloads. A little more info: http://www.speedguide.net/faq_in_q.ph...
I’m relieved.
