[Pending Edits]
I have a presentation that has the status of [Pending Edits]. How do I get it out of this state?

Inappropriate?"Pending edits" means that you've gone into the editor and created a new edit but haven't saved any changes to it. It's "pending" because it's waiting for you to make an edit. If you go back to the lecture that is in this state and edit any part of it, it should encode properly.
Is the default edit ok? That should encode once all the files make it to your server.
Let me know if that works. -
Inappropriate?Well the default edit failed so I was trying to make a new one to see if that solved the problem. Is my upload corrupted?

Inappropriate?I have the exact same problem. I tried editing the default, but that does nothing. So, I created a new edit, and that hangs up as "pending edits." I tried the approach of selecting the new edit again, and I noticed that the segment that I had marked was missing, so I selected it again, and saved, but to no avail. I still have pending edits. Somehow, it is losing the segment information while saving, and that would be my best guess.

Inappropriate? If you're running the editor on Vista with UAC turned on, try right clicking and running as administrator. If you still can't see your saved segments, try it from another PC.
When you say the default edit "failed" can you elaborate? Or perhaps attach a screenshot? -
Inappropriate?I'm having this problem too. I'm running IE and Windows XP. I've merged two files together (one is 30 seconds and the other is 25 minutes) and I think I've saved it. But it still has "Pending Edits". Maybe I've not given it enough time to process - but then I notice that another file that a colleague edited 2 days ago has also not cleared the "Pending Edits" status?
Am I missing something? -
Inappropriate?Lynette,
Can you either post the link or e-mail the problematic session to support@panopto.com?
Thanks,
Dave
