Can we set up a folder for access without Username or Password?
I thought I saw an option to make a folder available to the public without requiring a username and password for access. This would be incredibly helpful for presentations we want to make available as a public service. is it possible?

Inappropriate?Hi,
If you click on the "settings" link on a folder in the "Presenters" interface, then uncheck "Limit viewer access to the following viewers by default", the folder will become public. Sessions within the folder can still override public permissions by specifying their own access controls, so you can have a public session in a private folder and vice versa.
Hope this helps,

Inappropriate?Thanks for replying Eric.
I wanted to pass along the link to the relevant documentation and how-to tutorial.

Inappropriate?Dave, the directions are helpful but it appears the terminology has changed. The link you provided says "If the "Use ACL" box is unchecked, the recordings for that class can be viewed by anyone."
However, I don't find any box labeled "Use ACL". I can find one under Access Control in the Viewers tab labeled "Limit viewer access to the following viewers by default:".
Is that the box to un-check? It seems that by implication, if viewing is not limited to those users, it might be available to the public.
Thanks... -
Inappropriate?Sorry about that. Use ACL is the Access Control section. ACL stands for access control list.
If you un-check it, it will open things to the public. -
Inappropriate?Thanks!
