How to create a recording with chapters or thumbnails?
How do you create thumbnails or chapter markers for non-Powerpoint content within a recording? Something along the lines of the secondary video source (the chalkboard) in this example:

Is this a function of the Panopto software, or the camera/capture device?

Inappropriate?So basically there is no way to automatically create thumbnails/chapter markers/timestamps for non-powerpoint content? Ideally these would be created automatically when a certain percentage of the frame changes, or at a regular interval.
Could I make a feature request? :)

P.S.: I suppose this might be possible via hardware... some sort of motion capture camera?

Inappropriate?A thumbnail is created every 3:00 minutes, but the table of contents is empty (like in the example you originally posted). If your recording is under 3:00 minutes there won't be any thumbnails.

Inappropriate?Aha! That's great news! I guess that none of our test videos were over 3 minutes in length, so we never saw this. Thank you for this info.
