Is there a way to configure the recorder to use an internet proxy server?
Is there a way to configure the recorder to use an internet proxy server? I am attempting to use Course Cast within a corporate network that utilises a proxy server for internet connection.

Inappropriate?The recorder ought to be using the same proxy settings as internet explorer under internet options->connections->LAN settings, though we've seen behavior where recording succeeds but uploading doe not when the proxy is ISA server.
Do you happen to know what brand of proxy you have, and if there are particular steps to using it?1 Comment

Thank you for your prompt reply John. I'm sorry I do not know the brand of the server. Usually I fill in the server name and ports to use the proxy for what ever application.
The error message that shows when I click the Log In button is as follows:
"The request failed with HTTP status 407: Proxy Authentication Required (The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied.)..Please check that your network connection is working and that your server settings are correct." -
Inappropriate?In your configuration, I believe IE passes credentials to the server using your windows login, but our software does not. Does your IT department provide the ISA firewall client? Installing it should remedy things.
