Inappropriate?Yes. The current beta release doesn't allow for this, but we're going to be sending out and update soon that will let you record PPT/Screen on a mac and video on a PC (or vice versa).

The release date of the first public version of the Mac Recorder is still early July, along with CourseCast 2.2. It's probably not a good idea to put it into production with real recordings until then. However, we would certainly love your feedback on the Mac Recorder if you are interested in participating in the current private beta; at the very least, this would be an opportunity for your Mac-using faculty member to tell us whether he or she would be comfortable using the new software.
