Maximum frame rate for secondary video sources?
I'm trying to find out what the maximum frame rate for secondary video sources is. I couldn't find the answer in the wiki. I know that screen caps appear to be adjustable up to 15fps. Are other secondary sources different? If the framerate does top out at 15fps can this be changed by editing a PRX or similar config file?
I have a recording scenario in which an Osprey video card provides four video inputs, all of which are being captured as secondary sources. This has some interesting potential benefits (e.g., simultaneous, multi-camera recording). However, I'd like to test this out thoroughly first.

Inappropriate?Hi Will,
If you open c:\Program Files\Panopto\Panopto Recorder and open object.prx in notepad, you can make the below change. This will make the secondary video play back at a slightly higher framerate.
Find avgtimeperframe="2500000" and change it to "0000000"
**These files should be editied at your own risk.**
If you are just talking about screen capture, those settings can be changed in the recorder - settings - advanced settings (screen capture framerate slider).
Let us know how this works out.

Inappropriate? Thanks Dave. I'll try that and let you know how it works. I'm concerned about having adequate processing power for four video streams but I'd like to try this out.
Can you tell me what the default frame rate for secondary video sources is? I'm talking about a video source not a screen capture. And what will the frame rate be after I make the adjustment you describe?
