Recorder as a portable application?
Is it possible for the Panopto recorder to run from a USB drive, utilizing the PCs hard drive as storage only? I ask for there are some PCs where access might be difficult for installation purposes, but storing the captured PowerPoint presentations only would be invaluable.

This is definitely an important use case. We believe it's possible with a few small tweaks. Already in 2.2, if a few registry keys - server name, recording folder - can be pre-populated on the target machine and .NET 3.5 is installed, it's possible to use the Recorder from a USB drive just by copying the contents of "Program Files/Panopto Recorder" to the drive. We'll also look into our options for making this simpler in the next release of CourseCast.
