Azigo with certificate backed managed card.
Hi All,
I am installing Azigo on Vista machine. In the meanwhile, I want to ask you one question which is lingering in my mind.
I have managed card supported with digital certificate. Now when I read about Azigo; I come to know that once I will register with Azigo & add some Information Cards to it then if in future I need to use those cars from another PC I don't have to install these same cards on every PC just install Azigo & log in to my account. (Please correct me if I am wrong).
Now here my question starts: As I am using Certificate backed managed card so to use it on any machie I need Information Card & digital Certificate both to be installed on that machine.
So I want to ask you that if I want to add this card to Azigo; it's ok that while using it I will be able to get my Inforamtion Card on any machine but what about digital certificate associated with that card?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sanjay Adsure

Inappropriate?Hi Sanjay - You are correct in your summary of how Azigo works across different computers.
Related to your question about certificats, at this time Azigo supports m-cards that are backed by either username and password, or m-card backed by p-card. Support for backing m-card with other credentials such as x509 certificate or Kerberos are being considered for future releases.
Please let us know if you have any follow on questions.

Hi Brian,
Thanks a lot for your reply. Could you please do me a favour.....Is there any official link where this thing is mentioned which I can use to tell my decision makers that this functionality of using Certificate Backed m-Cards is not yet implemented in current version of Azigo.
If yes please refer me that URL.
Thanks,
Sanjay. -
Inappropriate?Hi Sanjay - at this time we do not have any other official link, other than this post, to reference the future plans for considering x509 and Kerberos backed m-cards.
