I2B Windows 7 but Vista Capability -- Program running in toolbar but not letting me sign in
i can't get the program to load...
its in my toolbar with a red music note telling me it's signing my e-mail up (which i already did on my blackberry)
when i right click my only option is sign up. i already have...about a million times.
i am running windows 7 but the program is set to vista sp1 compaitibility and my .NET is up to date.
i signed up on my blackberry storm... but there is no accsess code required from what i have found on other threads.
this program is a great idea if it would work.
help?

Inappropriate?Hi sorry you're having problems with the signup process on your PC.
First we no longer require an access code, people found it too confusing but unfortunately our documents still reference them on this site. There is no way to update them here.
Here's what is happening, when you first sign up on your BlackBerry, you receive a Welcome Email which you received since you were able to install the app on Windows.
Once you have installed the app on Windows you need to sign in with the same email address and password that you used on your BlackBerry. So you are correct you're .NET is all good if you're able to see the red note.
What is happening is somewhere on the login. The first time you run i2b on your Windows PC it does a couple of things:
1) it validates your credentials (username & password)
2) associates your iTunes library with your device
3) uploads your playlists and associated track listings
So it sounds like your not getting passed the initial login on your PC. When you choose Sign Up does it display a small form asking you for your email and password? If so after clicking on the signup button are you presented with any error messages? -
Inappropriate?it asks me for my e-mail and password...then gives me the option to sign up.
then it lowers itself into my toolbar and will not pop up. when i hover over it with the mouse it says my e-mail address and ...signing up.
i have already signed up but when i double click it it brings the window to enter the e-mail and password
the music note is always red and never blue... and i can never get to the syncing step.
i have not received any error messages unless i mess with the capability
i also have uninstalled and installed the program over and over but i cannot get to the syncing step.
I’m super mad.
