Hi, uhh I Recently downloaded Miro after being a vuze user for many years and I love it! Just one thing when I transferred a large torrent (30gb+) into Miro (95% done) it just gets stuck on waiting to check existing files, it's in the right folder etc. and it definitely has seeds because it works on another client help quick please :)

how do i cabel this it says i have a 30 money back deal ifv im not happy befor the 30days ill get my money back now tell me what i need to do to get money back

So I want my computer to power up early in the morning (BIOS setup) and launch miro at startup (Windows config)... but now I wan't miro to automaticly play newest videos !

I can't find any "commandline style" functions in miro.exe to do this, the only direction I have is to script myself a little loop to launch VLC in Miro folder, and delete myself the vidéos played....
If anyone encounter this kind of needs...

It would be very great if we can use Miro as wakeUp system !

is there a way to move folder that stores the thumbnails to another drive... any drive other than "c:" coz currently its taking up almost 3gigs and slowing down my machine!!

I'm unable to connect to any web page in Miro 2.0. I'm in a corporate environment and have to connect through a proxy. However, I can't seem to figure out how to set up Miro to use the proxy.

Miro on-screen playback controls last 4 seconds. Can I change the length of on-screen time or remove completely? ( Mac OS X 10.5.6 )

The link I was given said this site would allow me to view episodes of The Closer. I'm upset as The Closer is not even listed here!

I played a bit with Miro 1.x and have just downloaded 2.0 (both linux versions). I think it is a terrific piece of software, but it is plain unusable for me. English is not my first language and I usually need subtitles, without the subs support, miro is just a torrent client for me. Thus, I use directly a torrent client and a video player with subs integration.

Note that subs support is not a desirable feature for me (and I bet for many other people), it is a requirement. IMHO, it'd make the difference between a "useless" program and the best multimedia application in a desktop.

Please, consider making it your #1 task.

I downloaded Miro and it looks great. The sound is great, but the screne is black.
I have Windows XP (sp3).

I have recently upgraded my Ubuntu installation from 8.10 to 9.04. Since then, miro, unlike other xine applications does not output any sound until I suspend the pulseaudio sound server. Other xine applications, like totem-xine play just file with pulseaudio. To make matters worse, there seems to be no way to configure xine settings in miro. Other apps use a xine_config file, e.g. ~/.config/totem/xine_config, I cannot see anything like that. I also tried editing ~/.xine/config, and I added audio_driver:pulse. However this did not help, and additionally it should not even be necessary, because xine should be able to auto-select the correct driver. Also, pulseaudio provides a virtual alsa device, which alsa applications can use, but this also did not seem to work. I have set up a pcm.pulse in my ~/.asoundrc, which I can use with aplay, but unfortunately I cannot find a way to tell miro which alsa device it should use.

I could of course switch to the gstreamer backend, but then, miro does not create thumbnail icons for newly downloaded videos. Is this a known issue?
