"File not found" when downloading from YouTube or Google Videos
I'm getting a "Error-file not found" message, when I try to download videos from YouTube or Google Videos. Try to download Home (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbDmOt...) to see by yourself. This download worked without a flaw yesterday, but not today. Haven't found one YouTube or Google Video, that I was able to download, today either. Maybe they have changed the API or something?
Checked it with the stable and the nightly (06-18) build.

Inappropriate?I had 1.2.8 and downloading files from youtube worked last week. When I tried it today, no luck. Upgraded to 2.0 and even tried it on a different computer and still didn't work. "file not found"
This is my only way of getting music without risk of viruses... :(

Inappropriate?Hi, same for me too, it was all working very well for maybe months now, but last couple of days I guess, it won't work for any video in my youtube feeds. I tried keepvid.com, and they worked on there.
I guess like the OP that youtube has changed the way they work, about a week ago I think they seemed to change the way their feeds work too, I had to run a nasty sed script on an .opml file to fix them all again.

Inappropriate?Hi all, an update, I just built from svn, there is a patch in there, and my youtube problems seem to be solved, if you don't mind doing that kind of thing, you could grab the svn and build yourself, or grab a nightly.
Here is the log...

fix YouTube scraping
They changed something in the past 24 hours or so, so that the /v/ URLs don't
redirect. Just pull the video ID out of the URL directly and use that to
generate the info URL.
Here is the link to try out a nightly. These are considered unstable I guess, but I find with most open source projects it's rare to get a really bad nightly. If in doubt, make sure you backup your feeds/videos/database before trying one out.

Inappropriate?Yeah! It's solved in the 2009-06-22-nightly () for osx. Get the latest nightlies from http://pculture.org/nightlies/.
However, a micro-fix for the current stable would be great...
I’m happy

yepp. would be nice to see it packaged for fedora 10. -

Inappropriate?it works pretty well. though it don't find any result for Gussow.014 on youtube search.

Inappropriate?I installed in ubuntu and it works well (it finds also the file Gussow.014). I noticed only one strange thing.
I had a lot of downloads, I searched one file, clicked on the download button. The file was added to the download queue, then searched again the same file and the download button was enabled, clicking on it the file is added again so I find the file downloading twice.
I hope it can help
thanks
