Can't move channels to folders.
I'm trying to organize the channels I've downloaded by moving them into folders. No matter how I click and drag, they won't move, What am I doing wrong?

Inappropriate? Are you trying to drag the title (don't), or the little channel icon next to it (do)?
I’m to the point.

Inappropriate?I need to move the download folder to my external hard drive because my space is limited on my internal hard drive and miro keeps placing file on my internal drive....
I’m sad

You posted in the wrong thread Tracee.
Anyhow, do not move it manually. Start Miro, go to it's preferences, and you can specify the download folder there. Chose some folder on your external hard drive, and Miro will ask you whether to move all your downloads there too. Confirm this and wait a bit. Problem solved. -
Inappropriate? The problem I see is you can't specify folders for each channel. I like my videos organized by Show/Season/ and Miro only lets you choose 1 folder, then creates a folder for every channel and inside that a folder for every download which is messy. Miro seems to be dedicated to being "the" media library manager and player for the computer but I have that already on my MythTV box. I just need my RSS channel monitor to download my shows to where I want them.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? Thanks so much! I'm sorry for posting in the wrong section. You are absolutely correct. That worked like a charm. Thanks again for helping me. I am really very impressed with Miro and would like to donate. Are there any plans in the future for adding a pay pal button in the donation and/or merchandising section? I don't like having to type my credit card information in but want to give you all a small thank you (cause that's all I can afford right now) for such an amazing product?
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I haven't been able to drag, but you can control-click to highlight multiple channels, then right-click and you can put the channels in a new folder.

I just downloaded Miro version 1.2.8 for Linux (Ubuntu Hardy), and dragging works now. -
Inappropriate?Really? I just upgraded to 1.2.8 and it's still broken for me.
-
Inappropriate? This still doesn't work for me in Ubuntu / Miro 1.2.8.
The closest I can get is to select multiple videos, then click the "Put into a new folder" button. Unfortunately this creates a new folder each time :(
