How can I change language?
I chose the language during installation as English. My system is not in English and somehow the language in Miro is now the same as my system. What should I do to?

Miro to English-
Ok do this:
1. Open "C:\Program Files\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro\resources\locale" folder, then rename your language folder to language folder2, for example the language folder for hebrew is "he" will become "he2". this will force Miro to use english...
2. Open "C:\Program Files\Participatory Culture Foundation\Miro\chrome\locale" (the chrome skin folder) do again rename to your language folder to whatever you want then copy en-US folder and rename it to "Your language folder"...

Inappropriate?Maybe redownload the installer and install over your existing installation selecting the desired language. Other than that, Miro should follow your system settings.

Inappropriate?I searched another way for this problem and that solution works. When the OS was installed or perhaps in updates from Apple, multiple languages are installed. Go to System Preference, then international then delete all languages but your own (in my case, US English). Miro then displays properly upon making these changes. you may need to quit and restart Miro to have these changes apply. All is well now.

Inappropriate? Also, if you are trying to do that on a Mac, you have to go to /Applications/Miro, cmd+click and Show package contents. Once the contents show up, continue on to Contents/Resources/locale/ delete other languages and leave only the one you want. If all else fails, you can redownload Miro and have it the way it was before, in the OS prefered language.
It boggles my mind that the developers don't include the option of switching locale. Sometimes localizations are not the best option for those who speak English very well and hate the confusion.
