Inappropriate?Which part are you stuck on? Make sure the files you want to add are already loaded in Miro -- I actually just found a bug when I tried to drag and drop from the Finder.
-
Inappropriate?I have this problem too on ubuntu linux hardy. Drag and drop isn't working.

Inappropriate? You must drag and drop individual videos from the Library and channel views. Not from a file manager, that semi-essential feature is unfortunately still missing.
-
Inappropriate?Go to Options, click on the Folders tab. The second item should allow you to add a folder to your watch list. The items on your drive will then show up in the main MIro window and from there they can be dragged onto the playlist name in the sidebar. Don't use the icon when you attempt the drag and drop- use the text name of the item you wish to add to a playlist

Inappropriate?"To add an item, drag it onto the name of this playlist in the sidebar."
I have the newest Miro, downloaded some videos, and still unable to figure out where and how to drag and drop to create a playlist. Maybe someone would be kind enough to create a screencast video about the procedure, upload it to Youtube or the Miro website? It would really help us n00bs to proceed.
Thanks!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I struggled with this too. The videos is the sidebar will not work, neither would dragging videos from feeds. What did work was going to videos folder and dragging desired videos.
-
Inappropriate? You can right-click on the item, and select add to playlist - it will allow you to add to an existing or create a new playlsit.
I'm not sure why drag and drop isn't working for you. What os are you using and which version of Miro, I'll test it out. -
Yes correct. Much of it has to do with where you perceive the file. If you see "the file" rather than a link in the feed section you'll have problems like I did. I tried dragging from the side bar and the corresponding feeds with no luck. If one goes to videos which is the folder where the files truly reside there is no problem. The play lists work know and they do so beautifully. It seems to me the easiest way of clearing up the confusion is a clearer explanation.
Instead of "to add..." say something about going to the videos or audio folder not the feeds or sites to add your content.
Again, once I figured how to add it works great. -
Inappropriate?Oh, thanks! I have already figured out this question in the meantime.
