Inappropriate?Hi, our software is free and open source (at http://getmiro.com). If you've paid anyone to download or buy the software, then it wasn't through our organization.
I’m hoping you weren't conned
-
Inappropriate?i paid for this http://www.johnq.com/landing/jqtv/jqt... and i got your stuff what is going on i demand to nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i am very unhappy bout this
I’m unhappy
-
Inappropriate?Hrm, seems like that website is just selling bundles of free software, not sure if they just happen to provide access to their own 'premium' channels or something but they certainly don't provide the source code, so isn't that a GPL issue as well?... If they don't provide anything extra other than Miro I hate to say it but i think you very well may have been conned...
I’m afraid you may have been conned
-
Inappropriate? It appears these folks are probably doing something less than legal -- we'll look into the matter.
I'm terribly sorry that this happened and if I find a way for you to get refunded, I'll get in touch with you. I recommend trying to contact them again directly and seeing if you get any sort of response.
I’m sorry
-
Inappropriate?I didn't see any contact info on their website, but it appears they are operating out of NY: http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=...
The BBB might be a good route. -
Inappropriate?Hi Craig. I run Business Development for Miro.
This is messed up. The JohnQ people got in touch with me about a year ago, but I hadn't heard from them since and didn't know they were selling our software. I'm going to get in touch with them and point them here so that they can resolve the issue. -
Inappropriate?thank you jessep and dean i been email them for the past 2 days and they have not got back to me i can use the $39.95 i spent for it for someting else im really unhappy about this
I’m so mad
-
Inappropriate? This is from their self-support center page
"At JohnQ, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like to request a refund, please call one of our Customer Service Representatives using our toll-free number: 1-800-935-5771.
Or if you prefer to use email, you can contact us at johnqbilling@dhdmedia.com."
Do they have own content? In a forum someone wrote that all they offer is free stuff from youtube and other feeds. The website looks very strange - not much info and a pattern mostly seen on websites where someone only wants to sell something which you can get for free elsewhere. -
Inappropriate?did anybody here anything back
-
Hi craig, I haven't heard from them, but I'll ping them again. Did you try calling the number above? 1-800-935-5771 or emailing johnqbilling@dhdmedia.com? -
Inappropriate?yes i did email them at johnqbilling@dhdmedia.com but they nerver got back to me and im unable to use due to have bad speech i really hope i can get my money back i can use the money for something useful

Inappropriate?I used www.wBigs.com to get to this service. Not at all what they advertised. I too paid $30 for this service.
I’m pissed off!
-
Inappropriate?I am pleased to have found this page! I will try the phone # and email and let you know what I find IF they even answer! I had originally marked the 1 month cost, which I think was under $10.00, but when it got to the order page they only offered only the 1 year which was the $30.00. This is an outrage!
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? This is where I was conned into paying for Miro - It doesn't even state that is what you are paying for:https://secure.signupmember.net/join.php?secure=yes&payment-process=new&hop=tv00039232&h=tvfreeload
-
Hi Debbie, have you had any luck with getting your money back from this? If not, please contact me, I may be able to help. Email me at agrofun@hushmail.com. thanks -
Inappropriate?you need to fix this I want my 54$ back right now. I hold MIRO responsible as it was MIRO that asked for my money. I will get my money back and MIRO should be shut down for this!!!! This better be resolved immediately!!!!
I’m very upset and will take legal action
-
Inappropriate?Megan and other folks-- we're really upset that people are running this scam, and it's completely unaffiliated with Miro and PCF. We have never asked anyone to pay to download the software.
-
Inappropriate?Nobody deserves to be screwed out of money.
Having said that, let this be a lesson to everyone. NEVER download ANY program from anywhere other than the programs' official website or a trusted website like download.com. -
Inappropriate?Iv just paid 50$ for nothing too via tvfreeload.com : right after submitting i knew it was a scam when your suddenly directed to a different site (signupmember.net) whith no information or content.
The advertised link/package was 'register account for direct downloading and get instant access to all files' : nowhere did it say you gotta use some client program or 'miro' or anything else.
I havent even loaded their client yet and i know its not going to have anything useful.
totally misrepresented.
I’m pissed off
-
Inappropriate?dusolais - I sorry you were scammed. We (PCF, the makes of miro) are not associated with tvfreeload or any other site that charges for miro. We distribute miro for free at http://www.getmiro.com.
