Interferring Frostwire
I sometimes use uTorrent to download videos from Minova or Isohunt and usually it automatically and quickly goes straight into Miro as I press download. This is much faster with Miro, and I can watch its download progress. However, ever since I updated my Frostwire, the dialogue box appears with an empty/blank icon, saying its a Frostwire torrent, so nothing is there. Now, even though I've uninstalled Frostwire to stop it interferring, its still the same. How do I get it back the way it was??

Inappropriate?I believe it's the file associations that you need to fix. If you're using windows XP, this should work: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307859

Thanks Dean, but you seem to be referring to the "Open With" option within Windows Explorer. This is a completely different issue relating to downloading. -
Then I think I'd need more clarification -- whatever you're trying to do, it sounds like file associations are messed up somewhere. -
Sorry, but I can't explain it any simpler. I didn't mention anything about having problems opening a program or Media Player. It's simply that when downloading with uTorrent, using eg. Minova or Isohunt etc, the download would normally go straight to Miro for downloading there..... -
Inappropriate? If it isn't a file association thing then I'm guessing your browser is automatically sending the .torrent files to Frostwire? (even though it isn't installed anymore?)

Thanks Chris. That sounds suspect, especially IE6. So, how do I fix it? I seem to remember when this happened before, I was asked first if I wanted to make something my default........ Problem is, I can't remember the exact question, but I think it was in uTorrent?
