Introduce yourself!
In the same tradition as this thread on the old forums, this is a place to say a little about yourself and a chance for to get to know everyone.
I'll start! Just like my profile says, my name is Chris Markman and one of the PCF summer interns. I'm going to Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science in the Fall and I'm really interested in studying the way people relate to the Internet through various forms of media. I'm also really into film and video, and spent the last three years or so studying it, writing about, and producing it as an undergrad. Oh, and I'm really tall and have red hair. It makes me easy to pick out in a crowd :P

Inappropriate?I'm Will Guaraldi Kahn-Greene and I'm a Miro developer. I've got a Masters in CS from Northeastern with a focus on programming languages design and theory. I run Ubuntu and Debian Linux on all my computers.
I like ice cream.
I'm helping out with Miro on Linux questions but otherwise pretty quiet on here.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I'm Arjuna. I'm just a user and fan. I've used miro on vista, osx and now am attempting to get it going on ubuntu. Hopefully over time I'll be able to answer some questions, but for now I think I'll just ask them!
I’m part of something!

Inappropriate? My name is Arturo and I am struggling with both English and Debian. I just discovered Miro and felt in love with you guys, so I will devote the next years of my life to help you make it a truly cross-language application like Debian currently is. My mother tongue is Spanish but I can also speak French and Italian.
Still getting to know it but hope to start being helpful soon.
I’m more confident about the future of Mankind than before

Inappropriate?Looks like some new faces around here (and that I should've said hi to Arjuna and Alok sooner — I already know sg!). Thanks for dropping in, and Arturo, if you want to check out the translations stuff, visit: http://getmiro.com/join/ There's more info about that there.
See you all around :)
I’m excited to see new cupcakes and cartoons

Inappropriate?Sure I will try to help with the translation of Miro 2.0 and related docs. Later, I'd like to become a Guide Moderator for the Spanish and maybe French and also Italian channels. I don't know how often do you walk the non-English side of the Miro Guide, but I can tell you it's quite messy there.
-
Inappropriate?Arturo, do you want to start a separate thread with your observations about the non-english areas and how they could be improved? Would be much appreciated.
