Miro 1.2.8 doesn't convert FLV videos!
I have just upgraded to version 1.2.8 of Miro (for Windows) and it is no longer converting flv files to MP4. Was this intentional? Is there anyway to re-activate the feature?

Hi!
Miro never converted flv files to mp4. Many YouTube downloads had both an flv and an mp4 version and Miro would download the mp4 version if it was available. On October 23rd, YouTube changed something in their system that broke Miro's ability to download either format. This was fixed in 1.2.8, but only for flv.
We're looking into re-enabling downloading the higher-def mp4 version if it's available for Miro 2.0.

Inappropriate?Thank you for the reply.
I'm surprised, because while I had the previous version of Miro, every time it downloaded an flv file, there was a process called "convert.exe" taking up a lot of CPU on my computer, and only during the download. So I assumed you were converting them on the fly.
I’m confused

Ahh... yeah, that makes sense. Miro runs convert.exe after downloading any video that doesn't have an associated thumbnail to build a thumbnail. -
Inappropriate? However, Miro used to download the high-quality MP4 files from Youtube instead of the flv files. With 1.2.8, it doesn't anymore.
I’m frustrated

Yes, that's what I stated. I hope to re-enable that for Miro 2.0.
