Inappropriate?Ok read the FAQ. Says that it is not possible right now.
Please make it possible and keep me with the player instead of switching to evil Iproducts. -
Just to clarify, it is possible to transfer video files with a little format conversion, but in the case of iTunes integration most of the useful metadata will be lost. There isn't an elegant solution just yet. -
That depends on the file format you're working with -- check out Alok's post for an idea: http://getsatisfaction.com/participat...
Keep in mind there are a number of free utilities you can use to convert file formats. A lot of people like iSquint: http://www.isquint.org/ -
Inappropriate?Yes, Miro stores your files in a folder on your computer. Check options, folders, downloads. You can transfer the files from this folder to any device that will support the file types. You may need to convert the files to a file type that your device supports when it comes to video. Ive had good luck using a freeware called anyvideoconverter: http://www.any-video-converter.com. Of course if its a audio podcast then it will be in MP3.
I do this with my LG phone.

Inappropriate?I'm Quite satisfied with this encoder http://www.xmedia-recode.de/
But still it's a hassle to encode and copy the files.
It's more comfortable to use evil Iproducts.
I’m switching back to Itunes if you can't save me.

Inappropriate? We're looking into integrating (in a fashion) with doubletwist for the next version of Miro, which would allow for easy syncing with almost any device.

Inappropriate?Thats really really great News! Thanks Dean. Can t wait until this feature is working. Then I will switch back to Miro!
I’m Happy

Inappropriate? The open source podcatcher juicereceiver.sourceforge.net has iTunes integration and work much better than iTunes itself (in my opinion). I was hoping to replace Juice with Miro since its an inactive project that's seen no updates in a few years.
Any chance the dev team could integrate some code (I think its all python) from Juice and bring that iTunes functionality into Miro? -
For a Juice replacement I would suggest gPodder, it is looking very promising. -
Inappropriate?smallbiztech is right any-video-converter.com is great
I’m excited that Miro may have iPod syncing abilities in the next verision

Inappropriate?I use the http://www.orb.com to view PC media on my mobile device. It's kind of like a slingbox where the PC is the TV and your phone is the client device. There is no need to do any manual conversion of audio or video. The PC does however need to be powered on and connected to the internet, and then Orb software acts as a personal media server.
I'm not proposing it as a solution but nonetheless some may find it useful.
I’m making do with the apps at my disposal.
