Miro search returns no results despite the video's existence
Sometimes I will watch a video on youtube and try to download it on miro but the search returns no results, even if I search using the video's exact title. This has happened a few times and it's really frustrating as I really want these videos!

It is a beautifully made video and I would very much like to have it. It has been flagged as 18 plus, though I don't know why and I thought that may have been it but other 18 plus videos showed up in the miro search... -
Inappropriate?Miro searches YouTube and accesses videos much like a browser, so if a result won't show up in a normal YouTube RSS search, it won't show up in Miro. Eventually we will have a browser plug-in that will let you grab stuff like this from Firefox, but for now you might want to try video downloader: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad...

Inappropriate?Yeah me too. Jed, here is an example with details.
Doing a youtube search in the youtube website for "traditional mongolian goat slaughter" returns all six videos. In Miro it only returns Part 3.

This happens with MANY searches. A search at youtube may return 50-100 hits but the same in Miro returns 2 or at most 10.

Try searching youtube in miro for "photoshop". It returns 20 hits. 20???
There are *hundreds* of returns if you go to the youtube website.

Inappropriate?Have almost same problem. But in addition, sometimes video appears in search results and suddenly disappear after a two seconds or so.

Inappropriate?@ ILMAR: I have EXACTLY your experience--results briefly (2-3 seconds) show up but then suddenly a fraction of the list remains and most other results (seemingly YouTube items?) disappear.
This basically renders Miro Video Search useless!
Does Dean of Miro have a response to this?

Btw, how would it be possible in the first place to limit a search to say youtube only? Perhaps that is one solution to the problem? -
Inappropriate?I assume it's all, as I make no limiting choices; all I do is enter a few words in the search field and hit enter. After a few seconds the first results trickle in, which continues for another couple seconds, I'm assuming gathering response from the source(s). Once the feedback seems complete, i.e., a long list has been gathered, suddenly the list shrinks to a subset of what was originally shown.
