Miro vs. VideoDrive w/iTunes: Which is better?
Ok, so I've been using Miro as media manager/player portal for a while now,
and it has several things I don't like:
1. Organization of media is a nightmare, no smart lists, newest playlist goes straight
to the bottom of your playlists, not arrange in alphanumeric fashion.
2. Miro often acts flakely in trying to organize playlists, especially when trying to re-order
correctly named alphanumeric named files within the playlist created
3. Full Screen mode often pops in and out after pausing for a few seconds,
say to answer the phone
4. Miro often acts flakey with my RF Remote
and I've been taking a look at VideoDrive.
I like the fact that iTunes is the backbone for it, and we all know how easy it is
to organize content and create playlists in iTunes. ;-p
But how does it compare to Miro?
As far as handling multiple video formats, etc?
I notice one of the things it does is to "wrap" content
in a Quicktime wrapper so as to enable it to playback in iTunes.....
Anyone whose used both for media playback / management,
please post your feedback. It will help in my decision to buy
VideoDrive or not....
TIA!

Inappropriate? You may post the things you don't like as a feature request/bug in the bugtracker.

Inappropriate?Pan, thanks I have..I listed 8 to 10 things that on the old site forum
when I first started using Miro (1.2.0) I'm at 1.2.4, and still no fixes
or feature requests honored /answered.
here is all the things I 've submitted in to the bugtracker in
a public forum posting as to things I'd like to see done
to improve the Miro experience, in a Top 10 style countdown:
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/mor...
because of the lack of these things, is why I'm asking my question currently....
I’m bemused

Inappropriate?terryj, I can't give an advice to the question what system is a better choice - I saw iTunes only once when I installed it on another computer.
I looked at your posting in the link - I would post them in the bugzilla as feature requests. I've received feedback to my reports.
